The history of Ouzo in the region of Magnesia began in 1922, when Asia Minor Refugees from Smyrna settled in Nea Ionia, Magnesia.

Then, at the beginning of the 20th century, they traveled together with the grandparents of the APOSTOLAKI FAMILY from Smyrna in Asia Minor to Refugees in Magnesia, the secrets and experience of the Family Smyrna Ouzo.
Thirty years later, in 1954, the Old Family Recipe was implemented again in Nea Ionia of Volos, giving the first bottles of the Family Ouzo with Quality Origin, OUZO 1954!
